|Upper Towy Climbs | Llyn Brianne | Craig Alltyberau | Red Kite Crag | Location Map|
Location: GR 776471 see Location Map. This is an extensive area of outcrops located north of a bridge (limited parking). The cliff closest and directly above the bridge can be reached in about 10 minutes by steep grassy slopes – this so far has provided the best climbing.

The main wall faces south east and overhangs gently over the last 8m. To the R is a vegetated slab. To the left a steep arete then a corner capped by on oak tree.

The classic of the area. This climbs the centre of the overhanging wall. Start just left of the arete bounding the left edge of the overhanging wall.
1. Climb the left-facing corner for 8m to pegs, swing right awkwardly round the arete to gain the wall. Move up to the overhanging upper section, 2 pegs and a bolt runner. Now directly up from the bolt to the top (crux). Chockstone and flake belays in a vegetated corner above the grassy ledge.
